As a young child, I faced a tumultuous upbringing after being adopted into a family where my biological mom was only 16 when I was born. Tragically, my adopted mom passed away when I was just a toddler, leaving me in the care of my father and a new stepmother and four unkind step siblings.
The transition was rocky, and I found myself in a toxic environment with the stepmother, where challenges seemed insurmountable. However, despite the adversity and hardships I faced, I persevered and overcame those obstacles, fueled by a deep resolve to create a better future for myself.
This journey of resilience and determination ultimately let me to pursue a career in special education and eventually become an educational therapist, dedicated to supporting and empowering students who, like myself, have faced their own set of challenges.
Through my own experiences, i found a passion for helping others navigate their educational and emotional struggles, turning my past hardships into a source of strength and inspiration to make a positive impact in the lives of those I work with.
